It might sound weird to say that you need to stop and scribble a few things to feel grateful for. That might be the last thing you want to do right now. But, the thing is, when you feel like you’ve got nothing, that’s when you’ve got to realize what you do, actually, have. according to Positive Psychology, it shifts your mindset. Start writing a gratitude list and you’ll be amazed at how much you’ve got going for you.

2. You’re Dissing Yourself.

If you neglect yourself, such as by putting your partner’s needs ahead of your own or not engaging in self-care activities, you’ll  start to feel like you don’t have the emotional reserves you need to feel good about life. Note that self-care isn’t just about splurging on new shoes or wearing makeup. It’s about nurturing yourself and staying healthy so you’re in your best form.
